Scoil Neasáin received a grant in 2021 to implement initiatives aimed at tackling the digital divide and supporting our learners at risk of educational disadvantage as a result, as part of Ireland's National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP), a project under the Recovery and Resilience Facility funded by the European Union through Next Generation EU.
This funding was used to purchase a set of 16 iPads and a number of online licenses for the school to support learning in the school and to address specific learning and educational needs.
Among these needs, students were given the opportunity to practice, develop and improve reading, comprehension, phonics and spelling skills, including:
- Cleite - Clár Luathléitheoireachta
- https://ccea.org.uk/learning-resources/clar-luathleitheoireachta cleite
- Taisce Tuisceana
- Cód na Gaeilge (Aip)
- Wordshark (Aip)
according to the criteria set out in circular 0060/2021.
